Here is a sampling of the ways WE've helped OUR clients with their networking challenges:

  • For a regional urban transit utility, designed and implemented a cloud-based, real-time payment processing system. Architected the communications infrastructure to support credit card and other payment methods at transit stations as well as wireless payment processing on busses. Developed and maintained PCI-compliant infrastructure to payment clearing houses. Designed infrastructure for multiple, redundant data centers. In addition, we developed and conducted formal classroom training in advanced networking technology and troubleshooting.

  • For a nationally-recognized university healthcare system, redesigned the data center security architecture to protect electronic patient records while controlling access from staff, medical students and consulting clinicians.  Developed plans for using mobile wireless devices to securely access patient records, increasing clinical staff efficiency and patient care.  Created procedures and trained staff to identify respond effectively to security incidents.

  • For an internationally recognized pediatric hospital, designed and implemented ubiquitous wireless networking to support voice, video and data networking.  Deployed mobile device management to manage wireless client devices.  Worked closely with clinical staff to socialize wireless procedures and technology.

  • For a nationwide insurance company, assessed the security posture of an Avaya VoIP system prior to nationwide implementation across the corporate wide area network.  Made recommendations for security controls to mitigate vulnerabilities.  Developed test plans for validating security controls.

  • For a federal agency, developed and executed plans for certification and accreditation of complex financial systems to meet the government’s security requirements.

  • For a federal law enforcement agency, designed and revamped the entire network infrastructure to create a modern, highly secure and multimedia capable network.  The design included redundant virtualized data centers, complex interconnections with multiple agencies, mobile wireless and real time security monitoring.  Developed and implemented security architecture to provide inter-agency data communications while protecting sensitive data in accordance with NIST guidelines.

  • For a defense-related software manufacturer experiencing Internet-based attacks, developed and implemented a strategy to protect critical intellectual property from theft.  Made both operational and technical recommendations to defend against, detect and respond to advanced persistent threats.  Interviewed and made hiring recommendations for new security staff.

  • For a branch of the United States Congress, was lead architect in building out a highly scalable multimedia network infrastructure to support IP telephony, sophisticated video conferencing, and other time-sensitive applications.

  • For a federal credit union serving both domestic and international clients, designed a new network infrastructure to provide a highly reliable, secure and high-performance converged voice and data networking.  Designed wireless network infrastructure.  Developed plans for remote data recovery site and real-time data synchronization.

  • For a federal legislative agency, was lead architect for major network redesign and upgrade to a fully switched campus infrastructure.  Designed a redundant, secure and high performance network for over 2000 users.
